Honey and Banana Puff Pastry Rolls
Prep Time , Cook Time , Serves 4.
Ingredients
- 4 Bananas
- 3 sheets puff pastry
- Taylor Pass honey (we’ve used Manuka Blend)
- 1 beaten egg for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Peel the bananas and cut the pastry into thick strips.
- Cut the bananas in half lengthways. Take a knife and carve a thin channel into each side. Do not go all the way to either end.
- Fill this channel with honey.
- Place the banana back together and wrap the pastry around the banana without leaving gaps. Complete this process with all the bananas.
- Place on a lined baking tray and brush with the egg wash.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle with honey while still warm, just before serving.
